So today I'll just share with you a different sort of favorite. :)
The reason I haven't been online much and haven't been posting much lately is because I really don't have that much energy or motivation to get things done. And THAT'S because Mr. Man and I are going to have another baby and Squishy's going to be a big brother!! :) Family and a lot of friends already know the news, but I thought it was about time to share it here. This week will mark just 11 weeks, so just in the first trimester.
I've had a lot of exhaustion and nausea, which sort of incapacitates me when I want to get busy crafting. I look forward to the second trimester when that will be alleviated just a little.
My due date is 11/11, so we'll have a Fall baby. The perfect time for fresh-knit baby hats!
So that's my favorite of the week (okay, and the month and probably the next several months!) :)
Happy Friday!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! You pamper yourself, Mama. Had to be preggers and have a toddler runnin' about. I would know.
ReplyDeleteWoooo-hoo! Little Man was a November baby (11/9/10). It's a good month for a baby. The only part that really sucked was dealing with the heat while being pregnant. That part wasn't so much fun. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a Mothers of Multiples group near you, see if they have one of their HUGE garage sales...and when. You can find some really great stuff for super-crazy cheap. Oh, and garage sale season...perfect!
Just don't forget about Squishy...he's going to feel a little left out for a few months after the baby comes. It's natural. Even with older children, they still feel left out. So, make him stuff, too :)
Congratulations! That's wonderful news! :)
ReplyDeleteMy little guy was a fall baby too! (11/12/09), it was a good time to have a baby. I was living in the hot, humid south at the time and the heat never got to me. I didn't get uncomfortable until the end, and by then the weather was cool. I thought it was the perfect time of year to be pregnant. Again, congrats
Can I share a bit of friendly advice? Don't forget about yourself with all your knitting and sewing. There's nothing like making a warm cardigan, socks, slippers, ect. in preparation for your upcoming birth and recovery.
Congrats! I thought something was up when you started to not post and was talking like you were sick. GREAT NEWS! Can't wait to see more progress on all your projects, especially the little one!!!

ReplyDeleteI've been trying to decide how I'd like to dole out my time in the months before baby arrives. I've picked out a couple sweaters that I think would be great near the end of my pregnancy, as well as after baby is here. :)
